CircleCalc tips are about solving everyday math problems with one calculator, CircleCalc.
I usually don’t write about politics or the economy. However last December
13th, I predicted the debt ceiling would be reached in five months and ten days,
as long the US government kept spending 4.4 billion a day in excess of revenue coming
in. The debt ceiling has been reached, therefore my calculations were correct and the
US treasury has been paying out 4.4 billion more daily than it has been taking in with taxes.
It is going to be a long hot summer in Washington D.C.

Pity poor Alicia, She joins her friends at a restaurant and at the end of the evening the tab
comes to $250. Her friends say, let’s skip the math and split the tip four ways.
That’s $12.50 per tab.
But Alicia only had a salad, while the rest of her friends had entrees and drinks.
But Alicia has CircleCalc on her smart-phone and says “let’s not skip the math”.
The math is simple: Multiply your percentage of the tab by the amount your group intends to tip
In this example the tip is $50 or 20% of the tab.
Since Alicia spent $15, she is responsible for six percent of the tab and she only needs to add $3 to the tip pile.
